Barbara Voorheis awards scholarships to Beaumont employees
Barbara Voorheis (far right), former Grosse Pointe resident now residing in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., recently attended a luncheon at the Country Club of Detroit to present The Francys D. Marco Scholarship. The scholarship, created and named to honor her late mother, is awarded annually. Phyllis Reynolds (second from the right), vice president and chief nursing officer and Carolyn Dragonette (far left), clinical nurse specialist, Beaumont Hospital, Grosse Pointe, congratulates and supports the Beaumont, Grosse Pointe employees who will use the scholarship to further their education in health care.
