The Family Center Circle of Friends group is issuing the Cupcake Challenge. You're invited to share your best original recipe along with your favorite family or friend's celebration story. Entries must be postmarked no later than Feb. 16. Cost to particiapte in the contest is $10.

Ten finalists will be selected to bake their recipes for the judging day event, to be held March 13, from 1:30-3:30 pm at the Grosse Pointe Hunt Club, 655 Cook Road, Grosse Pointe Woods. Everyone is welcome to see the finalists compete. The top three will win awards.

Cost is $5 per person, $10 per family, and refreshments will be served. From noon-3 pm lunch will be available for purchase in the Hunt Club Dining Room.

Plenty of fun for kids is slated for that day, including pony rides.
