Dulac Brothers Spell Success for St. Paul

T.J. and Dominic Dulac, students from Grosse Pointe Farms, finished second at the Knights of Columbus Regional Spelling Bee.

 

How do you spell success?

Just ask brothers T.J. and Dominic Dulac of Grosse Pointe Farms.

T.J. and Dominic, students at St. Paul Catholic School, placed second in their respective age groups at the Knights of Columbus Regional (North Detroit) Spelling Bee on Jan. 13 at St. Clare School.

T.J. Dulac, an eighth-grader at St. Paul, placed second in the seventh-eighth grade competition. Dominic, a fifth-grader, finished second in the fifth-sixth grade division.

Both T.J. and Dominic will compete at the state spelling bee on March 23.
Approximately 40 students in each level from 10 schools competed at the Knights of Columbus Regional (North Detroit) Spelling Bee.

Other top finishers for St. Paul Catholic School:

  • Madeline Campbell, fifth place, fifth-sixth grade
  • Frank Yenchick, fourth place, seventh-eighth grade
  • Jessica Boehmer, fifth place, seventh-eighth grade
