University Liggett sophomore Connor Fannon batting .445 and is 5-2 on the mound.
University Liggett Baseball's Connor Fannon just wants to win.
And with him, they are doing just that.
Fannon has been strong on the mound and at the plate for the Knights this season, helping his team to an undefeated MIAC blue record of 13-0 (23-4 overall).
The sophomore pitcher/first baseman is hitting .445 with 10 home runs and 40 runs batted in. On the mound, he is 5-2.
"Connor is a 'team-first' kid," University Liggett varsity baseball coach Dan Cimini said. "He just wants to win every time he steps on the baseball field."
As a freshman last year, Fannon made 1st team all-conference, 1st team all-district, all-regional 1st team and 2nd team all-state.
"He is already being looked at by University Of Michigan baseball, as well as many other schools in Michigan," said Cimini. "He has a bright future in baseball if he continues to work hard and strive to be the best he can be.”
