Grosse Pointe Woods to Hold Boater Swap Meet
Event is the place to shop for or sell boating and fishing gear.
Looking to acquire some boating and fishing gear at a great price? Or, perhaps finish that spring cleaning and peddle off some items and pad your pockets a bit? There’s no better place than June 2, when Grosse Pointe Woods holds its Boater Swap Meet at Lake Front Park.
The rummage sale takes place from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., in the Boat Launch Parking Lot at the park. For those interested in selling, table set-up begins at 9:30 a.m., and peddlers must bring their own tables.
To shop, sell or swap you must be a resident with a 2012 Grosse Pointe Woods park pass or the guest of a resident. The park is located at 23000 Jefferson Ave.
The city stresses the sale is “cash only,” and no checks or credit cards will be accepted.
