Grosse Pointe Family Center to Host Special Series for Mothers and Teen Daughters
A special Ask the Experts series Presented by The Family Center in partnership with Beaumont Hospital, Grosse Pointe and Spirit of Women at Beaumont
The Family Center will present a series of seminars designed to help mothers and daughters build open communication and shared experiences starting March 6 at 6:30 p.m.
Join the experts for informal talks addressing common concerns for mothers, children and teens during this free, four-week course.
The first session, Live Safe for Mothers and Daughters, is presented by Live Safe Academy. A self-defense instructor conducts a self-defense class especially for women.
The no-fee, complimentary presentations begin at 6:30 p.m. and include a question and answer portion. The class will take place at the Barnes Center at 20090 Morningside Dr., Grosse Pointe Woods.
