Grosse Pointe LWV Presents 'Iron Jawed Angels'
Free showing of the HBO Golden Globe winning movie about equality and women's right to vote.
To honor the brave women and men who campaigned for universal suffrage and equal rights, The League of Women Voters of Grosse Pointe in partnership with The American Association of University Women, Friends of the Grosse Pointe Library, Grosse Pointe Historical Society, and Beaumont Health System prsent a free movie showing of the HBO Golden Globe winner, "Iron Jawed Angels."
The movie will be shown Thursday, Nov. 8 at 7 pm at the GP Woods Library, 20680 Mack Avenue.
Refreshments will be served. The movie is PG14.
