Grosse Pointe Shores Police Seeking Identity Theft Suspects

Reward offered by crime stoppers for at least nine identity theft incidents in the Metro Detroit area

GROSSE POINTE SHORES - Grosse Pointe Shores Police are asking for help identifying the subjects shown in the attached photos. The persons shown are believed to be responsible for at least nine identity thefts in the Metro Detroit area.  

They are wanted for questioning by the following law enforcement agencies: Grosse Pointe Shores Police, Green Oak Charter Twp. Police, Novi Police, The City of Northville Police and Farmington Police.

The loss is over $60,000 and is spread over several stores and cities in the Metro Detroit Area. The suspects have used the victim’s information and possibly a fraudulent Michigan Driver’s License to apply for credit accounts at: Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, Art Van, Gardner White, Home Depot, Micro Center, Macy’s, and Sears.

Once approved the suspect(s) purchase the maximum amount available on the new account, leaving the store with the merchandise driving a burgundy Chevrolet or GMC conversion van (see photos).

If you have any information on the whereabouts of these two individuals and would like to remain anonymous, please contact Crime Stoppers at 1800SPEAK UP.  A cash reward up to $1,000 will be paid for information received through the 1-800-Speak-Up anonymous tip hotline that leads to the felony arrest of the person(s) responsible for these crimes.
