Grosse Pointe South Choir Director Won't Face Charges

Grosse Pointe Farms police said Grosse Pointe South choir director Ellen Bowen, who is on administrative leave after allegedly hitting a student with a cell phone, will not face charges, according to a report in the Detroit News.

 

Grosse Pointe Farms police have closed an investigation into Grosse Pointe South choir director Ellen Bowen, according to a report in the Detroit News.

Bowen is on paid administrative leave after a student alleged the teacher hit him on the head with a cell phone.

But the Detroit News said Farms police will not file charges against Bowen after the student refused to pursue charges.
