Grosse Pointe South Girls Basketball Heads Back to Breslin
Blue Devils return to state semifinals after defeating Marian 63-58 on Tuesday.
The girls basketball team from Grosse Pointe South is headed back to the Breslin Center.
The Blue Devils defeated Bloomfield Hills Marian 63-58 in a Class A quarterfinal Tuesday at Lake Shore High School to advance to the state semifinals for the second straight year, according to the MHSAA.
Grosse Pointe South will take on Dexter on Friday at 2:50 p.m. at the Breslin Center in East Lansing. The game will be broadcast live online on mhsaa.tv.
Tickets are $8 and can be purchased online at breslincenter.com.
Grosse Pointe South has a record of 24-1 overall. Dexter, which defeated Saginaw Heritage 34-33, has a 23-3 overall record.
