Grosse Pointe South Golfers Finish Fourth at State Finals

North Hills Community Outreach’s 11th Annual Mini-Masters Miniature Golf Tournament will take place May 17 at RMU Island Sports Center on Neville Island.

The Grosse Pointe South girls golf team finished fourth at the Division 1 state finals on Saturday at Forest Akers East Golf Course in East Lansing, according to the MHSAA.

Grosse Pointe South finished with a two-day total of 677.

Plymouth won the state championship with a 659. Farmington Hills Mercy placed second with a 670, and Utica was third at 672.

Top golfers for Grosse Pointe South were Tenley Shield (75-80—155); Lily Pendy (82-75—157); Hanah Buzolits (92-88—180); Kaitlin Dalman (94-91—185); and Katherine Motschall (96-95—191).

Division 2

Grosse Pointe North finished 14th at the Division 2 golf finals at the Meadows Golf Course at Grand Valley State.

Top golfers for Grosse Pointe North were Madison Vens (106-94—200; Paige Micks (97-104—201); Ali Scoggin (109-101—210); Jenna Paglino (112-105—217); and Jordyn Parent (109-114—223).
