Home Invasion Suspect Arraigned in Grosse Pointe City Case
A Detroit man has been arraigned on charges related to a home invasion in the City of Grosse Pointe on Dec. 4
A Detroit man was arraigned on Dec. 13 on charges stemming from a home invasion in the City of Grosse Pointe on Dec. 4.
Henry James Crook, 22, is charged with robbery without the use of a weapon and breaking and entering, according to City of Grosse Pointe municipal court staff.
Crook may also be facing additional charges after his preliminary exam on Dec. 20, court staff said.
Bond was set at $50,000 with a 10 percent guarantee. Crook is still currently being held in Wayne County jail.
Grosse Pointe City police issued a Nixle Alert on Dec. 4 at 12:44 p.m. alerting residents that a home invasion on University had occurred and that a suspect sighting had police combing the streets in pursuit. Police advised residents to stay inside their homes and lock their doors until the alert was lifted approximately an hour later.

Excellent work. Unfortunately GPFL harsh sentencing is rarely a deterrent. These reprobates don't think they are going to get caught. Now if we took the streets back and knocked some heads around that gets respect.
