New Information in Bashara Case as Hundreds Attend Memorial Service

Grosse Pointe Park detectives continue their investigation into Jane E. Bashara's death. More information about Bashara's whereabouts the night of his wife's reported disappearance have surfaced and a potential witness has come forward with information.

Today the Detroit Free Press reports Bashara was at the Hard Luck Lounge on Mack Avenue the night of his wife's reported disappearance. He told several media outlets last week after leaving the police department following his first interview with them that he had been working at a rental property.

Meanwhile, Channel 4 WDIV is reporting that a person walked into the Grosse Pointe Park police department early today with information about Bashara's death.

The Detroit News reports that Bashara was killed in her home, and that the murderer may have had an accomplice.

Patch is awaiting return calls from the Grosse Pointe Park's director Hiller and its spokesman Capt. David Loch.
