Holiday stresses got you down?

Share a little holiday cheer with family and friends at the Mothers’ Club of Grosse Pointe South’s “Let It Go Luncheon,” Wednesday, December 12, 12:00 p.m. at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial, 32 Lakeshore Dr .

“This time of year can get so crazy, we just wanted to host an event where people can to relax and enjoy the true joys of the season with those closest to them,” said Laura Huebner, who is co-chairing the event with Susie L'Heureux.

The event features a delicious lunch, entertainment, gift items including beautiful floral arrangements from Grosse Pointe Florist and handmade ornaments, and even a bow-making workshop. A raffle includes fabulous prizes like holiday decorating, a personal shopper, and professional gift wrapping.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Mothers’ Club’s program and initiatives including college scholarships, classroom enrichment and preservation of the historic building.

Mothers’ Club Community Partnership Sponsors are:  St. John Health System, Beaumont Spirit of Women, Ferrara Skin and Laser Center , Dr. and Mrs. Barbish, and UBS. The Blaser Design Group is the ticket underwriter.
