The City of Grosse Pointe Foundation and Village Toy sponsored the annual art contest for community children grades kindergarten to fifth grade. The Paint the Window participants paint the windows of the businesses in the Village.

The theme for this year's contest was "Under the Sea," which appropriately went with two other events happening in the Village at the same time: the Neighborhood Club kicked off its fill the pool campaign and Pewabic Pottery allowed community members to decorate clay tiles to be used in a mosiac on a community decorate Grosse Pointe Perch.

Paint the Contest officials say participation was up this year from 160 to 190! Great paintings. If you get a chance, walk the Village and check them out!
