Parcells Students Celebrate 'Being ONE'
Students gathered on the lawn behind Parcells Middle School this week for an all-school photo in which they spelled the number ONE. It caps off this school year's theme of "One Parcells."

Parcells Middle School student gather for an all-school photo on the lawn this week as a final assembly for this year's school theme: Parcells ONE. The students participated in a variety of assemblies throughout the school year in the No Bullying Allowed program where they were taught about celebrating differences, empowering themselves and celebrating unity as a school.

The student body of Parcells Middle School posed for a photograph this week as the culmination of a school-year theme about celebrating differences while also celebrating unity.
The official theme for this school year was Parcells ONE and included assemblies and curriculum related to No Bullying Allowed. Students participated in learnings about empathy and empowerment, according to information provided by school counselor Carla Palffy.
They gathered for the all-student body photograph to show their unity as a school. Parcells Head Building Engineer Jim Steadman took the photograph with the use of a cherry picker from Grosse Pointe Woods.

Even back in the mid-60's when I was at Parcells, we could have used this kind of anti-bullying, school spirit boosting! Good for Parcells and good for the kids!
