Not this year. Really, what did the suffering fans get out of this dispute? Probably higher prices on everything, even parking fees, which includes no-fault damage to vehicle.

From what I heard,it's a 10 year agreement, which means we start this whole thing all over again in 10 years.

No as I have the feeling this is going to cost the fans even more when they increase their ticket prices once again, just like after their last strike! Why can you go to a Detroit Tigers game for under $30.00 but if you want to go to a Red Wings game it cost +$100.00 unless of course you're out in the parking lot watching it.

I will watch on TV but you wont catch me going to one game at the JOE. I am done with the greediness on both the owners and players. Did either side consider the lil folk that rely on those paychecks for Christmas. Screw em hope they lose there most faithful fans for more than just this season.

What about all the season ticket holders? There are alot of people who make plans around these games & have lost money. Does the NHL plan on compensating them? I have a feeling that the answer is no, there will be less games at higher prices & the fees for parking will be through the roof. Bowling sounds good right about now!!

It all depends on how good they are doing, they start winning and fans come back

YES!! YES!! YES!! I have come out of mourning! I can't wait for the games to begin. It's the best game around, with the hardest working players. If you have some tickets you want to get rid of, bring 'em on! GO WINGS!!!

One can only hope Bettman will be gone in 10 years when this contract is up. Why does he still have a job? I'll do a better job for half of what he is making.

I find it truly disgusting how these players think that they deserve millions per year to play a game. I don't care how good they are at whatever sport it is, they don't deserve the money that the owners are stupid enough to pay them. It'd be really nice if the people of this country that REALLY work every day got paid that kind of money. Pay a guy $8 million a year to play hockey, but most of our active services members' family are living close to poverty. That's messed up, seriously.

Amen. Not only that, just this a.m., the media was interviewing a player who remarked that 'they' hope all the time off the ice doesn't lead to injuries. Sounds kind of girly for hockey players.
