I got a call from the marketing department saying that I could go on the field for batting practice! It was awesome. Jim Leyland (jokingly) invited me into the dugout to manage that nights game...

Jack Morris pitching, Lance Parrish catcher...Lance calls for a intended walk, he holds his glove waist high out to his right side....Morris bears down and throws..Lance steps to the right and the ball hits the umpire right in the clock works!!!

Favorite moment:
Opening Day. Each and every one of them. They remind us that our baseball souls are reborn each year, regardless of the previous years outcome,, that hope springs eternal and our beloved Tigers keep us young at heart regardless of the number of years we've followed them.
Worst moment: Last out of the last game, without winning the World Series.
