Where is the Best Place for Sandwiches?

And more importantly, where do you think the best place for sandwiches is in Grosse Pointe?

That’s the question in this week’s Food Fight, where we ask you for your opinion on the best places to eat around the area.

You can let us know by leaving a comment below. You may submit comments until 5 p.m. Tuesday.

From there, we will take the top three nominees and post in an article first thing Wednesday morning. Then it will be time to vote again to decide the Food Fight champion.

Voting will continue until Friday at 5 p.m. Then, on Saturday morning, we will announce the winner.

So show your hometown pride and pick a place near you. Boast about that great local restaurant or that great eatery in your neighborhood.

And, if you are pulling for a certain restaurant, share this column on your personal Facebook page and Twitter feed and ask your followers to vote.

Haven't been back there in a long time. It was Called O'Haras on 10 mile in Eastpointe..The Greatest Corned Beef ever! I've been to New York and it was even better at O'Haras, I don't know the new name of the bar?

Sindbad's has the best fish sandwiches. I had both the pickeral & perch. Good size portions.
