There is no true "sushi" available in Grosse Pointe, which is very disappointing. Although the fish is fresh at TN Thai, neither Dylan's nor BlueFin should be proud to be known for their sushi. I would never take a Japanese client/friend to GP, or a true sushi expert.

Totally agree! Grosse Pointe is NOT the place you want to go for good sushi. Noble Fish is the best and most authentic in Michigan.

What is true sushi?? Authentic Japanese sushi if that's what u mean you are write not around GP cause not many like it!! This is American sushi hence California roll! I think all restaurants do a good job all fish comes from the same suppliers unless someone is using old product it's all the same! Sauces and other ingredients is really the only thing to set them apart.. Anyone have good things to say about our GP restaurants ?? So that they may continue to stay in Buisness

Noble Fish supplies to most of the sushi places in the area, thus they have the freshest fish because it comes to them first. And just because it's sushi in America, doesn't mean it has to be sub-par. What about sashimi or nigiri, when there is no sauce or ingredients to set them apart? Then it's all about the freshness of the fish. And just because we said that GP has a poor selection of sushi restaurants doesn't mean that we don't have any good things to say about GP restaurants in general..

Correct. None of it is "authentic". That's why I go to Kroger in the Village for sushi.
