Beaumont Grosse Pointe launches Community Health Coalition

Beaumont Grosse Pointe Community Health Coalition will host its first Family Dinner Night on Wednesday, October 24th 2012 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 375 Lothrop Road in Grosse Pointe Farms. Dinner is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. followed by games for all ages from 7 to 8 p.m. All ages welcome. No charge.

Please RSVP to 313-332-0972

Why a family dinner night? How is that a health event for the community? Did you know that just by having more family dinners together families tend to eat healthier, will be less likely to become overweight, more likely to stay away from drugs and alcohol, school grades will be better, you tend to talk to your kids more, and listen more to their problems, kids tend to feel your pride in them and there will be less stress and tension in the home. That sounds like a win-win to us!
