Thank you Gloria. Each and every resident of each and every Grosse Pointe should have the opportunity to see their government in action. It really should be a core value of each of our elected officials to ensure that this happens, that citizens should not be undertaking the job that a transparent government would easily consider their responsibility.
Grosse Pointe Residents. Call upon your elected officials to televise their meetings. Your cable bills are already subsidizing the Grosse Pointe War Memorial public access channels. In the meantime, fire up your video cameras and contact Grosse Pointe Patch to post the meetings. With budget hearing taking place at every city council in the next few weeks, you would think the elected officials would get it done but apparently only Grosse Pointe Shores residents have been able to prevail with a responsive government, so the rest of us will have to do it ourselves.

You have that right, Chris. The Woods council has been ignoring the residents too long. Put 'em on video and make 'em sit up and take notice.
