 , now 12 years of age started the Annual Grosse Pointe Animal Adoption D
 og Wash. As all young kids\, Alex wanted to have a Lemonade Stand but af
 ter seeing all the dogs in the neighborhood she and her mom thought of t
 he idea of a dog wash.&nbsp\; Alex recruited her friends to help out and
  over the years it has grown and grown.&nbsp\; Each year\, the kids have
  raised more and more money for GPAAS.&nbsp\; This event is GPAAS second
  largest fundraising activity.&nbsp\; Alex has about 30 kids and their f
 amilies that come and help out. It is a great event that really helps an
 imals in need.&nbsp\; Chief\, Alex&rsquo\;s\, 4 year old puppy from GPAA
 S will be on hand to help out and meet friends.\n&nbsp\;\nPlease come an
 d help us raise $2\, 000.00 feel free to bring your dog\, borrow a dog\,
  or just drop off a donation !!!\n&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;
