The Family Center presents "Play Central," Wednesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30 a.m. through April 26. Parents and caregivers can drop in with their children for playtime and socialization. No pre-registration is needed; cost is $5 per family per visit.

Opened in 1999, Barnes Early Childhood Center serves children from birth to age 6. The school aims to provide children with educational and support services before becoming school-age. It also offers evaluation services for young children and has five classrooms devoted to children with special needs.
