The deadline is fast approaching for McDonald’s art contest celebrating Black History Month! Enter now to win cash and other prizes! All entries must be submitted online or mailed and postmarked by Thursday, Feb. 14.
It's easy to enter. Submit a photo of an original work of art capturing a figure or event in black history. Detroit-area McDonald’s restaurant owners are giving away up to $5,000 in cash prizes, Arch Cards and a two-week gallery exhibit at N’Namdi Center for Contemporary Art in Midtown to 12 winners. The first-place winner’s teacher also receives a cash prize.
The contest is open to Michigan high school students 13 to 19 years old who are residents of Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Lapeer, Livingston, Monroe, Washtenaw and St. Claire counties.
