DESCRIPTION:The Radio Astronomy Team (RATz) will be sponsoring an America
 n Red Cross blood drive fundraiser on Thursday\, August 23rd in the Gros
 se Pointe North Cafeteria.&nbsp\; It runs from 10 am to 4 pm. &nbsp\;&nb

 ell.If you cannot donate but know of people who can\, please ask them to

 od donation:Right now the blood supply is at a critical low.&nbsp\; 900 
 pints a day are needed in the Detroit area.&nbsp\; In summer\, people do
 n't donate as regularly.You can save up to three lives by donating a pin
 t of blood.&nbsp\; Your donated blood is ALWAYS used.Incentives:Everyone
  who donates blood at this drive will be entered into a drawing for free
  gas for a year.As a special incentive\, we will also give a pair of tic
 kets to an evening planetarium program to each donor.&nbsp\; Need more t
 ickets?&nbsp\; Bring a friend to donate!&nbsp\;Individuals who are 17 ye
 ars of age (16 with parental permission in Michigan)\, meet weight and h
 eight requirements (110 pounds or more\, depending on their height) and
