DESCRIPTION:Grosse Pointe Theatre Youth on Stage presents Seussical the M
 usical on Saturday and Sunday\, December 1 and 2\, at 2:00 p.m. each day
 \, at the Grosse Pointe War Memorial\, 32 Lake Shore Road\, Grosse Point
 e Farms. Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for adults. Call 313-881-40
 04 for tickets\, or purchase tickets at the door. Seussical the Musical\
 , by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty\, is based on the Dr. Seuss books.
  The show features all of kids&rsquo\; favorite whimsical Dr. Seuss char
 acters in song and dance. Grosse Pointe Theatre&rsquo\;s Youth On Stage 
 provides an opportunity for young people\, grades 3-8\, to learn about t
 heatre. Students participate in Saturday afternoon sessions to learn the
  basics of theatre and rehearse for a show. The program gives youth an c
 hance to express themselves through acting\, singing and dancing.
