Football Rivalry Night in the Pointes
What's your school colors? Show them off tonight at the North-South football game.
The Norsemen hit the road for a short road trip Friday for a rivalry game against the Blue Devils at Grosse Pointe South.
Kickoff is at 7 p.m., and will be preceded by the annual Grosse Pointe North-South Tailgate party from 5-7 p.m Friday at the South High School front lawn.
Family, friends and alumni can enjoy entertainment from groups from North, South and the Grosse Pointe Music Academy. Local restaurants including Alger's Deli, Blufin Sushi, City Kitchen, Full Circle, Trader Joe's, Bd's Mongolian Grill, Chocolate Bar Cafe, Extreme Pizza, Jungle Juice Bar, Subway and Blue Bay Fish & Seafood Market, will be selling food before the game.
Proceeds will benefit Grosse Pointe Foundation for Public Education.
Liggett plays at 1 p.m. Saturday at home against Lutheran Westland.
