Little League isn't so little in the Grosse Pointe Woods-Shores neighborhood. Opening Day is celebrated as a rite of spring with a parade and all the kids being honored for their teams.
On May 4, all the teams will gather at the Comerica Bank parking lot on Mack Ave for a 12:45 p.m. start. The parade will proceed down Mack ave to Gesquiere Park.
