New Tennis Pro’s come to the Grosse Pointe Hunt Club

Hunt Club Tennis is proud to announce its new team of Pro’s for the Fall. Incoming Director of Tennis Brandon Still, local legend Aggie Guastella, local favorite Jill Piertrowsky, popular Alex Galvin, along with a new team at the front desk, are poised to revamp this 'hidden gem' facility.

The club is also very lucky to have the hugely experienced Dennis Royal. Royal has been a tennis Pro for over 35yrs - he has developed professional players (Meredith McGrath and Anne Miller),obtained tennis scholarships for many players he has worked with, and in 2013 coached the West Bloomfield High School Varsity team to finish 9th in the state.

And it’s not just a change in personnel. Over the summer Tennis at the Hunt Club has undergone a complete transformation. Brandon Still arrived as the Director of Tennis and with him came drive, energy and determination to create a new tennis experience at the club. He has created a new junior program, implemented a new schedule, introduced some great activities to the club and that’s before we have even reached the new tennis season.

This fall will see a brand new comprehensive program with something for everyone. There are the new In House Leagues, and the ever expanding junior program – from classes for pee-wees, to advanced level, through to tournament groups – any junior wanting to play can find a class for their level and experience.

In addition, we will have some fun day sessions, great clinics for adults of all levels (morning, afternoon and evening) cardio tennis and the all new Saturday night mixer – a social event for players of all levels to enjoy. Our wonderful team of new pro’s will be on hand to provide private group and individual lessons, and if there is something you don’t see we are always happy to listen to your ideas.
