For the past few months, Grosse Pointe Patch has asked local restaurants and specialty food shops their secrets to making their food special and amazing. We’ve heard about the used for ’s sauce, how creates its and why the at are the best in Michigan.

Now it’s your turn.

If you do a little special something to make a dish sing, we want to know about it. Maybe it’s the fennel you sprinkle into your spaghetti sauce, or the havarti cheese you use to make spectacular grilled cheese sandwiches. Maybe it’s your mother’s secret to flipping a layer cake without it splitting! Whether it is a simple tip or something more complicated, this is the perfect time to share whatever you do that makes your special recipe work.
