Get Out: Movies, Music and More
A quality weekend is in the works, with a home improvement show, classic and classical jams and films to get festive over.
Where/When: Harper Woods High School, 20225 Beaconsfield St., Harper Woods; Friday, March 18, 7:30-10 p.m.
Why Go: A film festival in the neighborhood? Why not go? This is a one-night only Michigan film-centered fundraiser event, organized to help the Harper Woods Public Library. You'll see feature trailers, mini-movies and documentary shorts from some of the state's top independent filmmakers. You'll also have a chance to win DVDs and Blu-Ray discs, movies, books and more.
Pricing: $5 adults. $3 students.

Why Go: This is the 24th Annual Grosse Pointe Board of Realtors Home & Garden Expo, and more than 70 vendors will be in attendance to offer advice and solutions for your home improvement needs and plans.

Why Go: Hear some Detroit roots rock 'n' roll soul as Dave Edwards and The Look play their mix of rockin' originals and choice covers at Robusto's.
