1. The heat will remain, according to the National Weather Service, with temperatures reaching 91. It'll be mostly sunny with scattered thunderstorms after 8 a.m. and tonight it'll dip to 72.
2. A public hearing tonight will allow the Grosse Pointe Woods city council to decide whether the Neighborhood Club Thrift Shop will be moving into the former Shelby Paint store at 19483 Mack Ave. The building's owner is seeking a variance from the city's ordinance restricting businesses that solely have resale merchandise.

3. Police in Grosse Pointe Farms and City of Grosse Pointe are looking for while the owners are filing up along Mack Avenue. Anyone with information is asked to call 881-2100.
4. Congratulations to the Grosse Pointe Park Little League program, which has after each earned the district title. The teams and at least one will play in the Great Lake Regional in Indianapolis.
