1. The sunny, clear conditions could come to a close today as there is a 30 percent chance of rain, according to the National Weather Service. It'll be mostly cloudy with a high of 79. The possibility of rain returns tonight with a low of 66. 

2. The filed by John Hauler, of Grosse Pointe Woods, against Rep. Tim Bledsoe. They found the language used on the petition was unclear. Minutes after the denial, Hauler filed two more recall petitions against Bledsoe with different language.

5. Donate blood. The American Red Cross is asking for donations after having to cancel more than 60 drives due to Hurricane Irene. The organization supplies blood to individuals who need it around the country and is already down by about 2,100 units as a result of the cancellations. Here is .
