1. Rain is a possibility before 2 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. The day will be mostly cloudy with a high temperature of 81. Chance of showers to return after 8 p.m. and the temperature will drop to 69. 

2. Grosse Pointe Park's Little League 12s International Team has . Scheduled to begin today at 1 p.m., the team will play Hamilton, OH West Side Little League. Good luck boys! Congrats on the success this year advancing beyond districts and even states.

3. It's . This week's prize is a gift certificate for one pound of chocolate from  (good only at this location), a $34 value. At the end of the eight-week contest, a grand prizewinner will be chosen for a two-night stay at Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island. 4. This week is unusually quiet in the Pointes for meetings. Grosse Pointe Farms has their monthly council meeting at 7 p.m. tonight. Much of the agenda is related to the organization's preparations for Racing for Kids on the Hill. 

5. A Grosse Pointe Park woman who lives two blocks from Lake St. Clair tired of never using the water and has started a league for stand-up paddleboarders. She is looking for people who want to join.
