Grosse Pointe Shores Ford House Honors Veterans with Free Tour on Nov. 11

Veterans and active duty invited to tour the Ford House on Sunday, Nov. 11 for Veterans Day

The Edsel & Eleanor Ford House appreciates the commitment of service men and women to our country. Veterans, members of the military and their immediate family members will receive a complimentary house tour and an audio tour of the Ford House grounds with proper identification on Sunday, Nov. 11 from noon to 4 p.m.   

Members of the Ford family have served in both the U.S. Naval Reserves and U.S. Army. During World War II, the Ford Motor Company also did its part by manufacturing war products for the United States Government. Henry Ford served in the Naval Reserves during World War II.
