Grosse Pointes Prepare for Santa Claus Parade

The Friends of the Grosse Pointe Parade recently held a preview event with some of the floats that will ride down Kercheval in the 38th Santa Claus Parade.

Preparations are underway for the 38th Grosse Pointe Santa Claus Parade on Kercheval.

The Friends of the Grosse Pointe Parade recently held its annual preview and fundraising event at Grosse Pointe Farms Pier Park.

The event, hosted by John Stevens and Ryan Ermanni, featured a variety of family events, a Toys for Tots collection and the unveiling of a new float for the parade. This new float recognizes K-9 Safety Partners of the Grosse Pointe, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and expanding canine units throughout our communities.

The parade steps off at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29, at Kercheval at Lewiston, and proceeds down Kercheval to Cadieux.

Before the parade, the Lions Club will again host the Jingle Bell Walk/Run. For more information, and to register, visit the Lions Club website.
