Register for Paint the Window Contest in Village
The annual art contest in the Village featuring paintings by kindergartners to fifth graders is scheduled for May 18. Pre-registration is required and may be done at Village Toy.
Artists from kindergarten to fifth grade enrolled in a school within the Grosse Pointes are encouraged to register for annual Paint the Window contest slated for May 18.
This year's theme is summertime fun.
In Paint the Window contest, the student artists are encouraged to paint creative pictures related to the theme on the windows of the Village businesses.

Registration is open now and may be done at Village Toy or by calling 313-608-1381. Pre-registration is required and space is limited, however as of Friday window space remained open.
Painting is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. May 18 and will end by 1 p.m. Afterward, paintings are judge and awards are given based on grade level, with an awards ceremony at Village Toy at 4 p.m.
