Strong storms Friday night knocked out power to nearly 3,000 DTE Energy employees and downed a number of tree limbs in the Pointes.
Most of the outages are east of Marter in Grosse Pointe Shores and Grosse Pointe Woods, and west of Mack between Oxford and Manchester.
According to the DTE Energy outage map, power is expected to be restored about 11:30 p.m. Saturday.
