DSO Adds 2 Concerts in Grosse Pointe

The Detroit Symphony Orchestra added two concerts to its Grosse Pointe offereings for its Neighborhood Concert Series, one in April and one in June.

Due to popular demand, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra will hit the road to Grosse Pointe, offering two additional concerts for its Neighborhood Concert Series.

The shows will be April 27 and June 15 at 8p.m. at .

The program for April 27 will feature works by Mozart and Britten. Elizabeth Schulze will conduct the orchestra, and DSO Acting Associate Concertmaster Hai-Xin Wu will be featured as a soloist in Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 3. The program for June 15 is still being planned.

The Neighborhood Concert Series consists of four-concert, subscription-based series in six metro Detroit venues in Beverly Hills, Bloomfield Hills, Dearborn, Grosse Pointe, West Bloomfield Township and Southfield.

Tickets for the Neighborhood Concert Series are $25 for adults, $10 for children under 18 and students. Subscriptions are $40 for the two additional Grosse Pointe concerts.
