Antiques and Attic Treasures Appraisals Planned

If you are curious if your belongings are more treasure than trash, or vice-versa, look no further. Bring them to the Antique & Attic Treasure Appraisal event, planned from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Saturday, July 16, at the Grosse Pointe Woods Community Center.

Experts from the area will be in attendance providing verbal appraisals and information about your treasures for $5 per item. (Please, no firearms.)

  • James Valentine - furniture  and art
  • Christopher Kolomjec  -  carpets and rugs
  • Harold Braggs - miscellaneous collectibles
  • Kay VandeGraaf - porcelain and lace
  • Pat Scott Jewelers - jewelry, gemstones, watches
  • Lori Stefek - silver, art, and flatware
  • Steve Dong - Asian art
