Arts & Scraps is holding its annual dinner and auction event at The Glass Academy in Dearborn, an artsy evening for a good cause – supporting activities for thousands of children in the area.
The $35 admission at 7 pm includes dinner, glass blowing demonstration, facility tour and free parking.
The $50 VIP admission at 6 pm includes private glassblowing demonstration of premiere bowl (its sister bowl will be auctioned that night), free Dragonmead beer samples, snacks and the best seats in the house.

Auction highlights include:
- Two usher positions at the Fisher Theater
- Sports tickets
- Detroit River Cruises
- Private dinner for eight in your home
- Art from staff and volunteers
- Desserts created by individuals and professionals
Arts & Scraps is also seeking donations for the auction: Services, objects and desserts (for the dessert auction) will all be accepted. If you have something to donate, please bring auction items to Arts & Scraps by Jan. 29 or the desserts to Arts & Scraps on Feb. 3 or before the auction.
You're also invited to advertise or show your support for Arts & Scraps with an ad in the program book. Ad prices range from $25 for a black-and-white business card to $300 for the color back page.
