Grosse Pointe Woods' annual Halloween happening means spirited fun for families.

As the days creep closer to Oct. 31, that means more and more Halloween events for families to enjoy, including this one:

Where:
When: Friday, Oct. 21, 6-8 p.m.
Pricing: $4 per person over age 1. Sign up at the GPW Community Center or call 313-343-2408 for information.
Why Go: Grosse Pointe Woods holds its annual Hob Nobbin' with Goblins event, with a hayride through the park, a jamboree in the gym, trick-or-treat fun, pumpkin and face painting, plus the inevitable yet delicious cider and donuts combination.
