Grosse Pointe Woods native Drew De Four has released a video, "I'm Not Alone," a song about the common bonds humans share – "pain, frustration and a longing to belong," the artist says.

Singer/songwriter Drew De Four, who was born and raised in Grosse Pointe Woods, has released a new video, “I’m Not Alone.”

On his web site, he describes it as “a song about the common bonds we all share as humans: pain, frustration and a longing to belong.”

“The antidote (at least in this song) is the company of other healthy humans and the realization that we are all in this together,” he said.

De Four, who describes his genre humanist pop artist, currently lives in Ann Arbor. He has released four albums independently – all self-financed and self-produced – and has toured all over the United States, Ireland and the United Kingdom, Japan and Poland.

Influenced by musical legends like Tom Waits, Ray Charles, Dr. John, Ben Folds, The Band and Van Morrison, his music is a combination of piano bar potpourri, New Prleans jazz, Waitsian ballads and beat-box-piano-pop.
