Registration Open for Assumption Nursery School and Toddler Center

Assumption Nursery School and Toddler Center, a recipient of the Governor's Award of Excellence, has limited openings for the coming school year.

Assumption Nursery School and Toddler Center has limited openings for the coming school year.

According to Director Melissa Sharp, there are limited openings for morning developmental classes for preschoolers ages 3- to 4-years-old; transition classes for children between 2 ½ to 3-years-old; toddler classes between 1 to 2 ½-years old. Early care is offered beginning at 6:30 a.m. and the afternoon developmental program is offered until 6 p.m.

Assumption also offers a Young Fives Developmental program designed for children who turn five-years-old in September, October or November. Since the State of Michigan is working towards changing the starting age for kindergarteners to five by Sept. 1, this class is an excellent preparation for kindergarten, according to Sharp. It is offered as a half day from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. or a full day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
