Crews have begun work on the exterior and interior of the former Talmer Bank at Mack and Roslyn in Grosse Pointe Woods for a new Biggby Coffee.
Bob Claerhout, owner of Majestic Landscaping which is handling the exterior renovations, said the coffee shop is expected to open by late September.
He added the exterior will include a wooded outdoor patio with a fireplace.
"It will be the place to hang out," he added.
