Community Open House & Ice Cream Social

Saturday, June 23rd, 2012 from 12 noon until 3pm the public is invited to a Community Open House & Ice Cream Social at Services for Older Citizen’s (SOC) new home on Ridge Road in Grosse Pointe Farms.

Join SOC staff and board members in celebrating the kickoff of our new home at the corner of Ridge and Muir Roads in Grosse Pointe Farms. Sneak a peek before construction crews begin their work remodeling the 10,000 square foot historic building that served as the Nurses’ Residence for Cottage Hospital, now Henry Ford Medical Center – Cottage, which has generously gifted the use of the building.

This is a family-friendly event that includes activities and door prizes for children and a special raffle for children and adults. Come see what this exciting project will be bringing to YOUR community! Guided tours of the interior of the home will be taking place and ice cream and popcorn will be provided free of charge.
