Patch Picks: Most Romantic Restaurants

Heading into the weekend before Valentine's Day, Patch readers and editors have selected the most romantic restaurants right here in Grosse Pointe.

This week's selections focus on the most romantic restaurants in Grosse Pointe. Readers helped with selections. They are in no particular order but we know they should be pleasant dining experiences, and romantic for those looking for that environment.

We probably missed some places, so add them in the comments box below to share with everyone!

  • The scene: An intimate, yet welcoming restaurant where the service is friendly and personal. After dinner move to the bar, where you can watch the chef work his magic and enjoy a glass of wine.

  • The scene: A cozy Italian bistro featuring an intimate setting and limited seating. Make it for dinner or just dessert and wine at the equally intimate bar.

  • The scene: Wonderful food, an intimate atmosphere and live jazz music. What could be more romantic?

  • The scene: Upscale Italian food with a touch of elegance and intimacy.

  • The scene: The bustling Grosse Pointe favorite feels busy but still allows diners to "escape" for an intimate meal. Plus their is live piano music at 8 p.m. nightly.

You’ll find useful lists to help you, your family, friends, and significant others find the best places for everything from Sunday brunch to New Year’s Eve celebrations, pumpkin patches, date night destinations, florists, girlfriend nights out, kids party places, parks and more.
