Ribbon-Cutting: Grosse Pointe Extreme Pizza

The owners of the new Extreme Pizza on Fisher Road celebrated the grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce.

Grosse Pointe Extreme Pizza opened on Fisher Road earlier this month and celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce. Grosse Pointe Mayor Dale Scrace also joined in the ribbon-cutting celebration.

The restaurant chain exists in 10 states, most of which are west of Michigan. The Grosse Pointe location is the first, and currently only, location in Michigan.

Grosse Pointe natives Sam Saigh, Steve Saigh and John Moran have partnered to open Extreme Pizza across from South High School at 369 Fisher Road. The restaurant offers pizzas, salads, subs, calzones, wings and desserts.

Customers may dine-in, take-out or have food delivered and online ordering is available through the company's website.

The Grosse Pointe location will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays; 10 a.m. to midnight on Saturdays; and noon to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

For more information, visit www.extremepizza.com; call 313-881-5000; or visit the Grosse Pointe location's Facebook page.

I love Nuevelle Cuisine and it's hard to find in the Gross Pointe area. I had Extreme Pizza the first night they opened and it was terrific! Will definitely be back for more!
