Campaign Teaches Kids from Detroit Valuable Business Skills

On June 7, kids will be setting up lemonade stands throughout the Detroit area. Some at local parks, others in their own driveways, and some kids will even partner with local businesses.

Lemonade Day Detroit encourages kids to use their accounting practices and people skills to sell lemonade and learn a bit about business.

bds’ Mongolian Grill is not only one of the sponsors of the event, but kids are setting up stands outside of select bd’s locations to capitalize on the foot traffic (a smart business idea). bd’s is also giving two dollar off gift cards for all of those who buy lemonade and support the cause –to go towards any meal.
